Recycle Everywhere is on a mission to ensure everyone in Manitoba has free access to recycling bins this October in celebration of sustainability month. “Recycle Everywhere and The Winnipeg Football Club continue to work hard every season to ensure that as many empty beverage containers as possible are recovered at Princess Auto Stadium,” says Mike Cuma, Senior Manager at Recycle Everywhere. “Our decade-long partnership is a testament to both of our organization’s commitment to ensure it’s convenient for Manitobans to recycle no matter where they are, including cheering for the Blue Bombers on game day,” he says. With the support of Recycle Everywhere, The Winnipeg Football Club made a significant investment in recycling infrastructure in 2024 to ensure the entire facility, from the pre-game tailgate area to the luxury suites and concourse at Princess Auto Stadium continues to have ample recycling and waste collection. “The Winnipeg Football Club is pleased to continue its decade-long partnership with Recycle Everywhere in ensuring Manitobans across the province understand the importance of recycling,” says Wade Miller, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Winnipeg Football Club. “We encourage any of our business partners who are looking for waste and recycling best practices and infrastructure to connect with them,” he says. The free Recycle Everywhere bins will include SFD bins, designed for at home use; MFD bins, with a compact design and convenient handle for residents of apartments and condos; and bin bags, designed for recreational use at cottages, campgrounds and for those on the go.
